Google has updated the Rank Rank yesterday(27th June, 2011). The previous page rank update was on January 2011. This Google update sounds good for me. Because Geekyard page rank got increased from PR1 to PR3.I was expecting this because we were doing link building and backlinking work. I mentioned these things in this post, Google Has Updated January 2011 Page Rank.
There was no change in page rank updation for Techpraveen.com.
- TechPraveen: PR2 (No Change)
- Geekyard: PR3 (Previously it was PR1).
My next target is to increase PR for Techpraveen.I must start working for next Page Rank update. I should work more to get PR4 for Geekyard in next update.There’s a long way to go with blogging and am currently focussing on driving more traffic to my blogs.

In my opinion, I think this PR update has a connection with Panda campaign Google expanded during many months ago. Content has the very important role in this PR update, the websites/blogs with good quality content, frequently refresh, unique & useful information will be ranked higher than low quality sites.
Congrats to you! I feel like linkbuilding is the backbone of pagerank right now. Props for finding good links; Lord knows they are hard to find!

Well I noticed that with the new update, some spam sites and some article farms were penalized a lot. I’m glad they made this update to their algo so that good content to come up.

This time PR updation brought some good PR for majority of website, all those which seems to be redesigned, I found their PR going down in recent updates.
